Our evaluation methodology is built on the principles of transparency, expertise, and equal opportunities for all participants. Each project is evaluated by a professional jury across five key categories, with criteria weighted differently depending on the project's type and focus.
SCIENCE
This category encompasses fundamental and applied research, scientific developments, and technological solutions in fields ranging from information technology and engineering to biomedicine, energy, and earth sciences.
Experts evaluate projects across five areas: scientific novelty and originality of approach; quality of methodology and validity of research; practical significance and potential for implementation; impact on the scientific community through publications and peer recognition; and prospects for further development and scalability.
For fundamental research, priority is given to novelty and methodology, while for applied research, practical significance and commercialization potential are considered.
BUSINESS
This section presents innovative business models, management solutions, entrepreneurial initiatives, and game-changing leaders in their industries. Areas covered include manufacturing, finance, IT, retail, development, transportation, energy, social entrepreneurship, and many others.
The evaluation is based on an analysis of the strategic novelty and sustainability of the business model; measurable financial results and efficiency; real impact on the industry and the formation of new standards; the quality of the management team and corporate culture; as well as social responsibility and adherence to ESG principles.
For startups, strategic novelty and growth potential are key factors, while for mature companies, achieved results and market impact are key.
ART
The nomination covers a wide range of creative practices: from fine arts, architecture, and design to music, theater, film, literature, fashion, and interdisciplinary projects at the intersection of art, science, and technology.
The jury evaluates the artistic value and originality of the author's statement; professional execution and mastery of the material or medium; the cultural and social significance of the project; impact on the audience and professional response; innovativeness of form and use of new technologies.
Experimental projects emphasize innovation and originality, while traditional forms emphasize artistic value and quality of execution.
HEALTHY LIFESTYLE & SPORT
This section is dedicated to achievements in high-performance sports and initiatives promoting a healthy lifestyle. It presents individual and team projects in all sports disciplines: from track and field, team sports, and martial arts to winter sports, technical disciplines, and all-around events.
Key evaluation criteria: level of athletic performance and titles; contribution to the development of the sport and the promotion of the discipline; leadership qualities and role in the team; professionalism, discipline, and adherence to sports ethics; and social and motivating impact on a wide audience.
For individual athletes, the priority is the level of results, while for mass and social projects, it is the contribution to development and public resonance.
EDUCATION
The fifth block brings together educational programs, methods, digital platforms, and initiatives that shape the competencies of the future. The areas covered include all levels of education: from preschool and school to higher education, continuing professional and corporate training, as well as EdTech solutions.
Projects are evaluated based on the following parameters: pedagogical innovation and originality of the methodology; measurable learning outcomes and student progress; scale, accessibility, and inclusiveness; impact on the education system and replicability of practice; and use of digital and technological solutions.
For methodologically strong projects, innovation and results are key, while for large-scale platforms, scope and technological sophistication are key.
Evaluation System
Each project is evaluated by members of an international jury according to approved criteria, which are weighted differently depending on the type of nomination. When calculating the final score, the criterion weight is multiplied by the expert's assessment, maintaining the system's flexibility and taking into account the specifics of each project. A multi-stage voting process and uniform evaluation standards ensure transparent procedures and a level playing field for all participants, regardless of the project's country of origin.
