The NextWave Awards Organizing Committee is pleased to announce the appointment of Ilya Levin to its Expert Council.
Ilya Levin is a Chartered Financial Analyst and investment banker with more than 15 years of experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and private equity. Throughout his career, he has held senior leadership positions at major financial institutions, including Sberbank Group, where he advanced from analyst to Managing Director.
Today, Ilya serves as an M&A Advisor to the Hungarian investment group Indotek, where he has successfully completed, among other projects, the acquisition of a 47% stake in the Auchan franchise in Hungary and launched a Luxembourg-based alternative investment fund focused on private credit transactions across Europe.
Over the course of his career, he has consistently protected investor interests in highly challenging market environments, including periods of geopolitical uncertainty, and has repeatedly demonstrated an ability to achieve results where previous transaction efforts had failed.
Ilya Levin’s appointment strengthens the NextWave Awards’ expertise in financial technology, investment strategy, and sustainable business development. His extensive experience in evaluating investment opportunities, structuring transactions, and supporting business growth will contribute to the objective and professional assessment of award nominees.
